Bangladesh: Covid Lockdown and Food Distribution
Bangladesh experiences another lockdown. We receive a lot of requests for food from various rural areas. People are currently not allowed to leave houses (with the exception of food distribution). Most are day workers, living day-to-day. When they don’t work, they don’t eat. We hear that people have been starving for many days. So, we organized another food relief campaign to 12 villages. Below is a photo journal from the first 2 villages.
When I took the food there, there was a look of joy and gratitude… They were so happy to get the food… tears came to their eyes with joy. I myself became very emotional with them. They thanked the Lord for their food. There are also some prayer pictures.
We need your help. We can’t do it on our own. So, if the Holy Spirit tags on your heart, join with us to help these needy Bengali communities at this time.
Almost everyone there lives a life of prayer. They hold the Lord in their hearts through prayer. But it becomes difficult to calculate the total numbers of people.
A package for a single family containing rice, lentils and oil costs $25. May the Lord bless you!
