Aim

Unreached people

There are still individuals and entire communities around the world who are overlooked, forgotten, and isolated—often living on the fringes of society and in hard-to-reach places. Their needs are many—spiritual, physical, and social. They long for hope, purpose, and a renewed life. We have stood with them, continue to serve them, and remain committed to reaching even more, making a lasting difference and fulfilling the Great Commission.

Special Report

Karail Slum Update, 5/2026

All the affected families (1,600 households) have now received our assistance in the form of warm winter blankets and food packages. It took many weeks to secure emergency funding and organize distribution in the Karail Slum (12/25–2/26). Our ministry’s evangelists truly stepped up and, as far as we know, were the only group  providing aid to these poor families, most of whom come from a Muslim background. The people recognized this and received the help with sincere gratitude.

Our outreach there continues. We hold weekly children’s programs at a local school where meals are provided, as well as programs for women and a new small-business initiative with sewing machines called the “Danuta/God’s Gift Program,” and a water sanitation program.

During my recent visit to Bangladesh, I had the opportunity to visit the Slum twice. The people are wonderful, and the reception we received was remarkable. Even in the midst of desolation and hardship, there is much joy among them.

Please continue to pray for them and consider supporting this program financially.

Karail Slum Update, 12/9/25

Two weeks after the fire, families are still living out in the open. People have been unable to secure food, safe drinking water, winter clothing, or shelter. Many are going hungry, having lost everything in the fire.

“…people there told me that they have been trying to survive with only a little dry rice for the past few days. I really cried when I heard this.”

Due to the arrival of winter, blankets and warm clothing have become the most urgent needs.

NEEDS:
1. Food
2. Winter clothing and blankets
3. Hygiene items
4. Tools

Just $20 will secure basic necessities for each family. Please consider making a donation.

Karail Slum Fire, Dhaka, 11/2025

About 1,600 houses were destroyed in a massive fire on November 25 in the Karail Slum in Dhaka. It has been an extremely difficult time for the community. Families have lost everything—their shelters, personal belongings, and sense of security. They have been left without basic necessities, including food, clean drinking water, and essential provisions. As winter sets in, they also have no way to keep warm and remain completely exposed to the elements.

“The situation here is very sad. People lost everything in one night and are now sitting on the streets. Children are shivering in the cold, no one is getting food, no one is getting a place to sleep. There is a kind of helpless silence in the whole area.”

Although the government has promised assistance, help has not yet arrived. The people affected by this tragedy urgently need warm wool blankets, food, clean water, and most of all—hope. Let us continue to keep them earnestly in our prayers and organize much-needed support during this hour of great need.
