Unreached people
There are still individuals and entire communities around the world who are overlooked, forgotten, and isolated—often living on the fringes of society and in hard-to-reach places. Their needs are many—spiritual, physical, and social. They long for hope, purpose, and a renewed life. We have stood with them, continue to serve them, and remain committed to reaching even more, making a lasting difference and fulfilling the Great Commission.

Special Report 12/2025
Karail Slum Fire, Dhaka
About 1,500 houses were burnt down in a massive fire on November 25 in the Karail Slum in Dhaka. It is an extremely difficult time for the community. Families have lost everything—shelter, personal belongings, and their sense of security. They have no provisions, no food, or clean drinking water, and as the winter is setting in, no way to stay warm. They are now exposed to the elements with no protection.
“The situation here is very sad. People lost everything in one night and are now sitting on the streets. Children are shivering in the cold, no one is getting food, no one is getting a place to sleep. There is a kind of helpless silence in the whole area.”
Although the government has promised assistance, it has not arrived. We continue to pray and seek God’s direction as we consider how we might help. We are already stretched thin, and providing meaningful support would take a miracle. But we believe in a God of miracles, and with Him all things are possible.
The people affected by this tragedy urgently need warm wool blankets, food, clean water, and most of all—hope. Let us keep them earnestly in our prayers.
Update 12/9/25
Current Situation in the Karail Slum: 10–15 days after the fire, many families are still living out in the open. People have been unable to arrange money, clothing, food, safe drinking water, or to rebuild even temporary shelters. Most people are living in the open with their families, including small children.
Many are going hungry. After speaking with them and trying to understand their most urgent needs, I learned that food and winter clothing are their immediate priorities. Everything these families owned was destroyed in the fire.
“…people there told me that they have been trying to survive with only a little dry rice for the past few days. I really cried when I heard this.”
I have written below the situation there and the most needed things from the testimonies given by the people.
Children, women and the elderly are in the most vulnerable condition. There are no basic facilities like cooking, sleeping and staying safe. Due to the arrival of winter, the demand for blankets/warm clothes is very high.
Urgent needs:
1. Food
2. Winter clothes and blankets
3. Materials for making temporary houses
4. Sanitary
5. ToolsIt takes about $20 to provide basic necessities for each family. If you feel led by the Lord and moved to support this mission, please consider making a donation today.
